Ubuntu 16.04 warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_US.UTF-8)

Pagi ini saya coba SSH ke server baru Ubuntu 16.04 minimalist mendapatkan pesan warning seperti berikut :

-bash: warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_US.UTF-8)

Karena cukup ganggu maka saya cari solusi untuk memperbaikinya, ternyata memperbaikinya cukup mudah hanya dengan perintah berikut :

# apt-get install --reinstall locales && sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

  1. Mau nanya sedikit, saya melihat ada 2 perbedaan sistem locale Indonesia untuk waktu. Untuk bulan kedua, ada yang tertulis Pebruari ada juga yang Februari. Bagaimana ya caranya supaya menginstal yang benar (Februari)??

    1. Halo,

      Biasanya pas instalasi diawal pilih Bahasa Indonesia kak.

      Saya pas install OS pasti pilih US, karena nanti akan bingung dengan bahasanya, kecuali memang terbiasa pakai Bahasa.

      Setting ini biasanya kalau direboot otomatis ganti ke bahasa yang sesuai kok.
